Meatloaf scored the biggest hit of his career in 1993 when ‘I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)’ with Lorraine Crosby hit number one in 28 countries including the Hot 100 charts in the US. It also charted at #40 on the Hot 100 Decade-end charts for the 90’s.
The music video features Meatloaf as the beast and actress Dana Patrick as the beauty. After the video aired, Patrick received several offers for record deals from executives who assumed she was actually singing in the video. In fact, she was just lip-syncing Lorraine Crosby’s lines in the song.
