Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash were The Highwaymen, one of the greatest country supergroups of all time. In 1985, they released their first studio album simply called Highwayman. The title track was the first song released, and it hit number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts.
