‘Black Hole Sun’ was Soundgarden’s first number one song on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. It hit number one in 1994 and also peaked at #2 on the Alternative Rock charts. It’s considered their signature song and it was their biggest hit on the charts worldwide!
