In 1997, Savage Garden scored their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with Truly Madly Deeply. Two years later in 1999, they scored their second number one single for I Knew I Loved You. All in all, they scored six top 40 hits on the Hot 100 chart between 1996 – 2000.
