Hootie & The Blowfish’s 1994 debut album Cracked Rear View produced four top 15 singles on the Hot 100 charts and five top 25 hits on the Rock charts. Their debut single was Hold My Hand, which peaked at number ten on the Hot 100 charts and number four on the Rock charts. Crosby, Stills, & Nash alum David Crosby provided a backing vocal on the song.
