Guns N’ Roses actually recorded three versions of ‘Don’t Cry’. The version with the original lyrics is the fourth track on Use Your Illusion I, while another version with alternate lyrics is the 13th track on Use Your Illusion II. They recorded a third version, which was released only as a single for the song, and was originally recorded during the ‘Appetite for Destruction’ sessions in 1986.
