Last night, a tribute concert was held in Wembley Stadium in honor of the late Foo Fighters’ drummer, Taylor Hawkins. The star-studded concert featured appearances from Paul McCartney, Brian Johnson from AC/DC, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson from Rush, Liam Gallagher from Oasis, and many more. There were so many awesome moments from the night, but two that stood out to us were Dave Grohl breaking down in tears while singing Times Like These, and Hawkins’ 16-year old son Shane Hawkins, who joined the Foo Fighters on drums for My Hero. Both of these performances left us crying and smiling at the same time. RIP Taylor, as you can see, you are sorely missed by so, so many.
Enjoy this look at Dave Grohl’s emotional performance of Times Like These as well as a clip of Shane Hawkins on drums for My Hero!
