Creed’s ‘Higher’ was their first number one song on the Alt Rock charts, and their second number one on the Mainstream Rock charts. It was also their first top ten on the Hot 100 charts when it peaked at #7. The song spent 17 weeks at number one on the rock charts, making it the longest stay at number one at that time.
