Barenaked Ladies scored numerous hits in their native Canada throughout the ’90s, but it wasn’t until they released their 1998 album Stunt that they scored their first major hit on the charts in the US.
In 1998, they scored their first number one hit in the United States with One Week, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Alt rock charts. They scored one more top 40 hit on the Hot 100 charts in 2000 when Pinch Me peaked at number 15 on the Hot 100 charts.
