Blossom debuted as a pilot preview on NBC on July 5, 1990 and premiered as a mid-season replacement on January 3, 1991. It went on to air on NBC for five seasons until May 22, 1995. The series starred Mayim Bialik as Blossom Russo, an Italian-American teenager living with her father and two elder brothers.
