In 1992, House of Pain released their debut self-titled album, and the first single Jump Around was a huge hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Rap charts, peaking at number three on the Hot 100 and number five on the Rap charts in 1992. It was their only top 40 song on the Hot 100 charts, although lead singer Everlast scored a number one Alternative Rock hit in 1998 with What It’s Like as well as a top ten Alt hit for Ends in 1999.
