‘Dear Mama’ was 2Pac’s first number one song on the Rap charts, and his first top ten on the Hot 100 charts. In 1995, it topped the Rap charts and peaked at number nine on the Hot 100 charts. And, as one YouTube user said, “2Pac’s songs are like wine, the older they get, the better they become”. Amen to that!
