In 1996, Eddie Murphy starred in The Nutty Professor, a science fiction comedy that was a remake of the film of the same name from 1963 starring Jerry Lewis. In the movie, Murphy portrays a smart, kind-hearted professor named Sherman Klump who is morbidly obese. Klump develops a miraculous, yet experimental, weight-loss drug that transforms him into his alter ego, Buddy Love, who is handsome, charismatic, and evil! In this scene, Sherman brings home a date played by Jada Pinkett for dinner with his family, and the family starts talking about relations. What ensues is comedic gold from Eddie Murphy who plays every member of Sherman’s family, ( Papa Cletus Klump (Sherman’s father), Mama Anna Klump (Sherman’s mother), Grandma Ida Mae Jenson (Sherman’s grandmother, Anna’s mother), and Ernie Klump Sr. (Sherman’s brother) except for little Ernie, Jr.
