Pretty Woman was released to theaters on March 23, 1990 in the United States. On a budget of $14 million, it grossed over $463 million at the box office and was the third highest-grossing film of 1990. The film starred Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, and the cast also included Jason Alexander, Laura San Giacomo, Hector Elizondo, and Ralph Bellamy, known to many of us from Trading Places as Randolph Duke, in his final performance.
