In 1993, Snoop Doggy Dogg as he was known back then released his debut album Doggystyle, and the first single released was Who Am I (What’s My Name?) It was one of the biggest rap songs of ’93 and is considered by many to be one of the biggest rap songs of all time. Who Am I (What’s My Name?) hit number one on the Billboard Rap chart, and number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
