In 1990, Red Hot Chili Peppers released their album ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’. The album was a huge success producing their first number one alternative rock hit for ‘Give It Away’ and their first top 40 hit on the Hot 100 charts with ‘Under The Bridge’, which peaked all the way up at number two in 1991.
