‘Don’t Speak’ was the third single released from No Doubt’s third studio album, Tragic Kingdom. Gwen Stefani changed the song slightly into a breakup song about her ex-boyfriend and bandmate Tony Kanal after he ended their seven-year relationship. ‘Don’t Speak’ was a massive hit worldwide topping the charts in numerous countries as well as topping the Billboard Mainstream Rock, Adult Top 40 and the Radio Songs chart in 1996.
