More than any other decade, the ’90s saw a plethora of bands from different genres score one or two huge hits on the charts before fading away. One of the those bands was Deee-Lite, who released their debut album World Clique in 1990. The debut single was Groove is in the Heart, and it was a massive hit worldwide hitting number one in Australia and number two in the UK. In America, the song topped the US Dance charts and peaked at number four on the Hot 100 charts.
The follow-up single Power of Love also hit number one on the Dance charts. They would score four more number one Dance hits between 1991 – 1995.
