Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) was the fourth single released from the Backstreet Boys 1996 self-titled international debut album, and the second single from their 1997 release of the album in the U.S. It became their first top five hit in the U.S. when it peaked at number two on the Hot 100 charts in 1996. It also became their first number one song on any charts when it peaked at number one in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Switzerland.
In 2020, Rolling Stone ranked the song at number 26 on their list of the 75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time.
