There are so many great scenes in 1994’s Forrest Gump. The entire movie is one excellent scene, but one of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Lieutenant Dan shows up on the dock and Forrest Gump jumps off his shrimp boat to swim and greet him. This one scene contains two of our all time favorite lines from Forrest Gump, “Thought I’d try out my sea legs.” “But, you ain’t got no legs Lieutenant Dan.”
Then, at the end of this scene, when his boat crashes into a pier, “That’s my boat…”
